There will be a meeting organised by Tony Louki, one of the three councillors for Osterley on Monday 30th January. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the proposed eleven-storey development at Gillette Corner South. The application for this development is now in and any objections must be submitted by 8th February (there may be some leeway on this and if so this will be explained at the meeting). The point is that if you are concerned about the development and wish to understand its implication then you should attend this meeting if this is at all possible.
The artists impression (left) of what the new building would look like is from the developer’s Design and Access Statement. Do you think this looks like a suitable building for Gillette Corner South?
Place: St Francis of Assisi Church Hall
865 Great West Road, Isleworth, Middlesex, TW7 5PD
Date: Monday, 30th January Time: 7.30 – 9.30 pm
You can download Councillor Louki’s flyer for the meeting HERE.
If you are interested in pollution questions and don’t mind wading through lots of semi-technical material and often confusing arguments then you should read the developer’s statement on air pollution.
The complete files for this application are available on the Council’s planning website (The reference number is P/2017/0053). Unfortunately they are often given in the form of many files for one document which makes it really tedious to get hold of the material. For example the Design and Access statement for which we give a single link above is presented as fifteen separate files? We have asked the Council for an explanation of why this has been done but no answer has as yet been received.
